You can currently oogle Joe’s amazing teaser artwork over at the Flim Fest: Twenty Ten page. You can also, starting today, submit any films/videos/or animations that you’d like to see included in this year’s festivities.

We will be announcing further details soon along with the date and location for Flim Fest: Twenty-Ten sometime this spring. We are currently finalizing some of the finishing touches with financing and planning, but for now we can definitely confirm that festival will be held in late August somewhere on the South Shore.

There are some great things in store for this year’s festival. With our attendence & submitted materials hitting critical mass in 2009 & 2008, we’ve decided to handle things a little differently in 2010. Stay tuned.

The transformation is complete! Check out the new layout of NATB.com! Our community page just got a facelift, not to mention the fact the entire look of NATB.com got a significant overhaul.

The Flim Fest section is going to be going through some changes in the near future too, so stay tuned.

In an effort to make NATB.com prettier, we’re changing some stuff around the site.

Most of the changes are purely superficial- virtually all the information will remain the same here on our website. We frankly needed to make some updates to prepare for Flim Fest 2010 this spring/summer, so please bear with us until it’s finished.

Based on a story by Joe himself, we managed to wrangle two newcomers to the world of Not A Tad Bad to act in this little piece: Alex Lewis and Kevin Lowney. Dana Cataldo handled our sound work on this one- which we plan to have edited and online in roughly a week’s time.  Hope you folks like it.

Now the movie in question may be nearing it’s fourth birthday in a few months, but that certainly hasn’t stopped us from decided to finally put out a DVD for the sucker. Truth be told, we actually had a DVD we gave out to fans of the movie back in 2006 but never got around to making a true-blue disc complete with Joe Botsch cover artwork. To the right here you can see his wonderful cover. Isn’t it nice?

The DVD is being aimed for a late, late 2009 release. We’ll likely make a small supply of them and sell them on the site for a rather cheap price (somewhere around $7 including shipping). We have been talking about making a new compilation disc that would include our newest movies and a another DVD that would qualify as a “greatest hits” piece- something for those yearning to see the best of our earliest stuff.

In NATB.com news, we have a few new pages up on the site along with new media. If you eyeball the Flimography section you’ll notice a few movies have been added- namely Hip Hop, Cherry Pop and The Fighting Freedom Fighters. Both pages include anything and everything we have on either movie, including the movies themselves for online viewing and download. Also, there’s this nifty Facebook fan page box to the right here. We didn’t invite anyone to the fan page, but people seem to already be joining up. Why don’t you assimilate into our army as well?

It’s been really nice to see all this Flim Fest 09 media hit the internet recently, so take a peak back down memory lane if you went to the fest. So after two weeks of working on the site there are a few updates worth reporting:

For starters, we’ve got a Community page up on the site now located just above this entry you’re reading in our site navigation bar. Like our last community page back at NATB.net, the community page serves as a place for the friends and family of the Not A Tad Bad community to rest- a place where people browsing our site can take a peak at our comrades, be they fellow film makers, musicians, or even just friends of ours who’ve come to every flim fest.

Another neat trick that’s been added to our site is our multiple log-in feature. This way whenever an article or update is posted you’ll be able to tell just who did it (yeah, I know- ground-breaking internet technology circa 2002, but it’s new for us!).

Finally, you’ll note that the Flim Fest and Flimography sections both got some heavy updates since the last time we posted, so take a peak at them to cherish in some of Not A Tad Bad’s rich history. We still have a lot of work to do on both sections, but I’m sure both will be taken care of in due time.

The Flim Fest section of the site is going to need some major revamping before 2010 hits in order to make room for Flim Fest: 20-10 submissions, that’s for sure.

And for those wondering: this video above features Beat Surrender covering “Dancing in the Dark” at Flim Fest 2009. Craig Shannon shot roughly an hour of video at this year’s fest and only recently did this footage get a chance to jump off of the DV tape and onto the internets. So, here it is. For more media from Flim Fest 2009 (or any other Flim Fest for that matter) check out the Flim Fest section for every bit of media we have.

• For starters: the comments section below works now! Hey, how about that! You can leave comments below every update/entry written on the site now. Someday there may be comment sections with each flim or on each Flim Fest page, but for now I think we can live without them.
• The Flim Fest section has been updated. The section only includes one Flim Fest page right now (08) and it’s still a rough design, but hopefully this template will set the tone for pages to come. The goal is to have a high-functioning Flim Fest site up by early 2010 for Flim Fest 2010.
• The Flimography section got a small facelift, with the six most recent flims being fully assimilated into NotATadBad.com. Eventually every movie will be on there (including the feature-lengthed movie)… this is probably top priority for now.
• Our search function at the bottom of the page let’s you find anything on the site. Want to watch the Worst Ways To Die? Search ‘em.
• Our RSS feed (listed on the top right of every page) is up and running, so you can throw it into your reader of choice. Whenever we post an entry or update. Grab the RSS at NotATadBad.com/feed

Not A Tad Bad Flims

This is our third website in the history of NATB, and it’s certainly to be our best. We’ve danced around from the original NATB.com back in 2004 to NotATadBad.net in 2007 to this. This one is going to be pretty dense when it’s finished- we plan on having plenty of new features on the site as soon as we can figure out how to get them running- including an entire section dedicated to the Flim Fest archives and Flim Fest: Twenty-Ten soon.

So sit back and stay a while. I paid good money for the hosting.
